Join us Friday, Oct. 24 from 5:30-6:30 pm for candy, costumes, and community fun!
Come in costume, collect candy, and connect with friends at this fun-filled community event. Flashlights & glow sticks encouraged—the back lot gets dark!
Don’t miss the Literacy Pumpkin Parade - our Otters’ creativity will blow you away!
We're looking for families to get creative and decorate their car trunks or truck beds to hand out candy or small toys. Last year we had 42 cars, and this year we need a minimum of 30 to make this year's event just as successful.
The deadline to register is October 15th, and remember to keep your decorations fun and friendly - no gore or scary themes, please.
We get a huge turn out so we are looking for a handful of volunteers to help usher people through trunk-or-treat and to make sure they stop and check out the literacy pumpkins on parade in the Library. Also looking for help with clean up after.

The notorious Opstad "Candy Monster" is returning!
Starting September 30th, look for the monster in the front office. We're asking for candy donations to help supplement what participating families provide. Kids (or parents!) can bring in bags of candy to "feed" the monster and help make our event a sweet success.
